At this point everyone is all in on fantasy football Season or people are just tired of it. Nonetheless people are still searching for what can take you to the top of your league standings.
Now I am no Fantasy Football expert but here is what I am looking for.
Good value
High upside
Jonathan Taylor has both. With his uncertainty surrounding where he is going to play this season he comes at a good value. He has fallen into the 3rd round in some drafts, making it so enticing to take a risk and draft him.
Pros
Later pick good value
Huge upside (former RB1)
Could find many touches on a new team
Highly motivated
Cons
We have no guarantee he will play
Unaware of what team trades for them and how the offense sets up for him
When I look at Fantasy football teams I see no benefit at coming middle of the pack. Yes, many leagues have punishments but only for the last place team, meaning there is a lot of times no benefit to finishing in the middle of the league.
SO why not try to risk and draft players with high upside. There is no need to be reckless but choosing a player like Jonathan Taylor could make you one of the more competitive teams in the league.
