NFL Flex Schedule Watch for Week 8

Currently, The Chicago Bears vs the Los Angeles Chargers is scheduled for Sunday Night Football but I think that will change.

Chicago and Los Angeles are two of the biggest media markets in the United States but the Bears are a tough national watch at the moment especially if they are without Justin Fields for a few weeks.

The Week 8 afternoon slot is featured by the Bengals vs 49ers on CBS at 4:25.

Here are two games that could replace the Sunday night game.

1. Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders

Right now this Matchup pins two NFC East Rivals with records of .500 or better. The Commanders in their recent matchups against the Eagles have played them tough, even beating them once last year. This matchup on paper would be much better than the Bears vs Chargers

2. Jacksonville Jaguars vs Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are always a national draw and it helps they have a winning record. The NFL has solidified that they expect the Jaguars to be a contender in the AFC this year with the multiple primetime games they have been given. Pinning these two teams together would give NBC and the NFL a chance to sell a storied franchise along with a potential up and coming Super Bowl contender.
