The Georgia Bulldogs DESTROY the TCU Horned Frogs 65-7 proving the committee got it WRONG.

The committee got it wrong.

TCU's unlikely run of destiny quickly came to a halt after running into the BUZZSAW that is Georgia. Immediately after watching, it's natural to think that several teams could have put up a better fight against the reigning champs. Those thoughts are correct.

Although I'd argue that a two-loss Alabama team would have had a better chance, no substations needed to be made in order to create a more interesting playoff. All the committee had to do was arrange the top four correctly to avoid the 65-7 blowout that was the national championship game.

With one simple move, switching Ohio State with TCU, we would have gotten this one-sided affair out of the way, gotten to watch Ohio State vs. Michigan, and had a much more entertaining final. That's so much better than what we got.

It was that easy. And it's not like putting TCU at four was a stretch; they lost the Big 12 championship to #12 Kansas State, while Ohio State lost the Big Ten Championship to #2 Michigan. There's a big difference.

Who wouldn't want to see Ohio State play Michigan in a CFB Playoff game? And that Ohio State vs. Georgia game was national championship game worthy.

This game will forever change the way the committee selects the top four, and it's not in favor of smaller programs. If anything, this game will guarantee Ohio State, Georgia, and Alabama makes the CFB playoffs for the rest of eternity.
