After wild week 1, water has begun to find its level and I anticipate this to be the biggest week of movement for the rest of the year. Yeah, turns out Browns and Chargers stink. We can't get them all right. Anyways, here's the NFL power rankings 2023, week 2.
10. Jaguars
I still believe the Jaguars are a top ten team, I mean they played the Chiefs. But at no point did it feel like they had any chance of winning.
9. Falcons
They have a legit run game and beat a very solid Packers team.
8. Buccaneers
Call me a Baker stan, but they have a good defense, a QB who's playing really well, a strong supporting cast of weapons, and the last time they were 2-0 Tom Brady was their QB so that has to mean something...
7. Bills
Okay, I definitely overreacted about them week one, I mean of course the Jet's would win on 9/11 after rallying around their HOF quarterback who went down. They have a big bounce back win and are allegedly back.
6. Chiefs
People will say six is too low but they have serious problems running the ball and lackluster weapons aside from Kelce. But they still have Mahomes so...
5. Eagles
Jalen Hurts has not looked like the 2022 Hurts we've come to know, AJ Brown would tell you that, but this team has too many good players to not be top 5 so here we are.
4. Cowboys
Two outstanding performances against average to bad teams. They're the best they've been in a long time but I want to see Dak perform when it actually matters before I crown this team with anything.
3. Ravens
A well balanced team that plays solid defense, good on special teams, can run it, and move the ball through the air? Yeah that's what the Ravens are this year and the only thing that can ruin it now is the Kardashian curse.
2. Dolphins
The Dolphins are good and Mike McDaniels is fast.
1. 49ers
I will say it again, turns out when you are paying the most important position on your team the least amount of money, you can afford a lot of very good players.
