XFL Week 2 Power Rankings

We are two weeks into the XFL 3.0. There are three undefeated teams left. And all three are at the top of the Power Rankings. There is still time for movement in the league but right now here is how the teams rank.

1. Houston Roughnecks

This team has yet to lose a game, even dating back to the 2020 season. The Roughnecks are good but they did show a few flaws. Quarterback Brandon Silvers may be holding the team back. He completed only 50% of his passes and struggled completing the deep ball.

2. DC Defenders

I tried to tell you in the Week 1 power rankings that this Defenders defense is the real deal. The comparison to the 1985 Bears and 2000 Ravens is still there, they just need a little more help on offense.

3. St. Louis Battlehawks

Led by A.J McCarron, who turned down more money to go to the NFL, the city of St. Louis was excited. The Battlehawks are a team to watch out for.

4. Arlington Renegades

The Renegades stayed at the four spot this week because they lost to the best team and even had a lead in the game. Arlington is an average team that can compete right now.

5. Seattle Sea Dragons

I have so much more faith in this team now. Looking back at their schedule they have played the seconds and third best teams so far. They may be 0-2 but they looked a lot better on Thursday night against the Battlehawks on a short week. I think this team can get better.

6. San Antonio Brahmas

The Brahmas may be better than sixth in the league but playing the Guardians did not help them this week. They are .500 on the year but beating the Guardians is not that impressive.

7. Vegas Vipers

I don't think this team is that good but I don't think they are as bad as the Guardians. They had two Quarterbacks play this weekend and neither looked great.

8. Orlando Guardians

They are not good and their head coach will tell you that. The guardians need to try something new because they aren't very competitive.
